Ranked System

Prove your worth. The Ranked queue utilizes a highly dynamic Matchmaking Rating system, ensuring you are always tested against players of similar skill. Climb the ladder and secure your place on the leaderboards.

The SP System

Your skill is tracked using Skill Points (SP). You possess two completely independent ranks: one for your performance as a Slasher, and one for playing as a Survivor.

Survivor Rating

When surviving, your Elo is calculated against the specific rating of the Slasher hunting you. Escaping highly rated killers yields massive SP gains.

Slasher Rating

When playing Slasher, you are matched against the average SP of the Survivors. Dominating a highly skilled team rewards you significantly.

Placement Matches

Every player starts with a base MMR of 800 (equivalent to Silver IV). However, your true rank is hidden during your first 5 matches.

During these 5 Placement Games, the system is highly volatile. Your SP gains and losses are multiplied by x3 to quickly elevate experienced players out of lower brackets and protect newer players. Once completed, your true rank is revealed.

Ranks & Divisions

Each major rank is split into 4 subdivisions (IV to I). Earning 100 SP will promote you to the next division. Earning enough SP to bypass subdivision I will promote you to the next visual Tier.

Bonuses & Shields

The System rewards consistency and exceptional gameplay. Your base SP gain from a win can be heavily modified by your in-game statistics.

🔥 Win Streaks

Stringing together consecutive wins applies a multiplier to your SP gains:
3 Wins: +30% SP Bonus
5+ Wins: +50% SP Bonus

📈 Performance Mitigation

Even in defeat, playing exceptionally well matters. High individual performance scores can mitigate your SP loss by up to 40%. Conversely, winning with a high performance score boosts your gain by up to 40%.
Actions such as :
- Reparing generators, Opening Chest, Reanimate a friend, Being Chase, Opening Doors

🛡️ Demotion Shield

Reaching a new major tier (e.g., promoting from Silver I to Gold IV) grants you a temporary safety net. If you lose your next match and would normally drop back to Silver, the Shield is consumed instead, keeping you at the absolute bottom of Gold IV.

Match Rules & Penalties

To ensure competitive integrity, the system applies strict rules regarding match completions.

  • Early Forfeit (Grace Period): If a trial concludes in under 30 seconds due to an immediate disconnect or server restart, the match is voided. No SP is gained or lost.
  • Rage Quitting: Disconnecting from the server while alive inside a Ranked Trial is heavily punished. The system registers it as a total loss, heavily impacting your Elo and snapping any active win streak.
